You can join through your company or on your own.
Some companies offer the FOCUS membership to their relocating employees as part of their relocation package so it is worth checking with your employer if you can get it through them. In this case we would invoice your company directly and register you as a member.
If you are joining on your own you can sign up online or contact us by phone. Monthly direct debit payment is available for those joining on their own.
You can, throughout the membership year, ask us ANY questions you may have about life in the UK.
You will meet other expats at the 50+ events and seminars we organise every year. If you have given up your career to follow your partner you can participate in our career development programme and we will help you with your job search.
The membership covers you and your immediate family including your spouse/partner and kids.

If you have been offered the membership by your company get in touch with us to know if they are willing to renew for another year.
If your company doesn’t cover the renewal, you can pay for it personally. Call us for more information.
Yes your friends are welcome to attend most of our events by paying the non-member fee. Occasionally some events are free for your friends.
If you are a member you can attend the majority of our seminars and events for free. Sometimes outside events have a small fee. Please check listings for details.
Some events are open only to members and some to non-members as well but at a fee.
When you join, you will have the opportunity to have a one-to-one session with a member of the FOCUS team which gives you the opportunity to ask several questions and get some advice. The meeting could be done either at our office or over the phone, whatever is easier for you. To book an appointment simply call or email us.
We offer a VIP or standard corporate membership (paid by a company) and a non-corporate membership paid by an individual. Contact us for details.
Our Career Development Programme is designed to help you with your job search, providing you with information and advice on the UK job market. Although we are not a job placement agency, we are proud that our programme has a proven success record of 75%.
